The Matriarchy of Vackendour
A densely forested kingdom, Vackendour sits between the Grimmoor and Skara mountain ranges. The land is split in half by the River Dour, which feeds into the Sea of Gale. On the west side of the river is the Highland, a majority of which is covered by the Forest Tam. On the East side is the Lowland, consisting of barren plains ravaged by the last war with Lufton. Far to the north is Grimmoor Mire, a wet swampland home to vicious creatures, and strong lumber.
The Country is ruled in part by its people but also by the therian creatures that live in the Forest Tam known as the Tamlin. These god-like beastmen have guided the lands around their forest since the Mage Wars, but they have only recently shown themselves and begun to take a visual role.
The Patriarchy of Mithras
Built on the ashes of the Empire of Thessa, Mithras started as a slave rebellion. During Thessa's fall it was one of the most militaristic countries in the world. Tired of war, Deserters and Mercenary armies contractually bound to Thessa joined the slaves in a coup destroying Thessa from within, a country paranoid of attack from without.

Would you be willing to preorder the book with the requirement of a full paypal payment upfront?
Submitted by Emily on July 6, 2008 - 12:56pmThe Elfen
The Elfen were once a single race living in three castes. The War, Magic, and Farm castes were split with the invasion of the Orcish tribes lead by Clan Orka. The Magic Caste fled east from their mountain home to the Desert City of Ril and became its Lords. The strong and proud Elfen Naval fleet of Kraviethan stayed behind keeping an eternal vigil on their lost borders forever trapping the Orkans within their home with a massive blockade. The peasant cast fled after their Magic Caste but were rejected from their masters and continued their sojourn into the Norther Reaches, a land permanently wrapped in winter.
